SSC GD Constable Recruitment : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for filling up a large number of jobs in the Central Armed Forces. A total of 39,481 Constable (GD) posts will be filled in BSF, CISF, SSB, CRPF, SSF, ITBP, Assam Rifles, Narcotics Control Bureau. Eligible candidates can apply online from September 5 to October 14.
Application Fees can be paid till 11 pm on October 15. SSC (Staff Selection Commission) said that the online exam is likely to be held in January or February. This GD Constablee exam will be conducted in all 13 regional languages including English, Hindi and Telugu.
How many posts in which section?
There are 39,481 jobs in GD Notification released by SSC. Out of these 35,612 will be filled in male and 3869 in female category.
Maximum 15,654 posts in BSF, In CISF : 7,145; CRPFg 11,541; 819 in SSB; 3017 in ITBP; 1248 in ARr; There are 35 vacancies in SSF and 22 in NCB.
Highlights in the notification:
Salary: Sepai jobs in NCB under pay level-1 will be given from Rs.18 thousand to Rs.56,900. For other posts under Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.
Age of Candidates: Not exceeding 18 to 23 years as on January 1, 2025. There is relaxation in age limit for various categories.
Application Fees: Rs.100 (Exemption for Women, SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen categories)
Selection procedure :
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer based test (CBT), PET/PST medical examination.
CBT is objective in nature. A total of 80 questions for 160 marks should be written in the question paper of 60 minutes duration
What will be covered in the exam:
General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Knowledge, General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics;
A total of 80 questions will be given in English/Hindi subjects with 20 questions in each subject.
Each wrong answer carries one quarter negative mark.

Andhra Pradesh: Cheerala, Guntur, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijayanagaram, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam
Telangana: Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Warangal.
