AP Police Constable Recruitment 2024: The TDP alliance government is going to take up the recruitment process of AP Police constable, which was stopped in the YCP government. The government has decided to seek the opinion of legal experts to resume the recruitment process. There are 6500 Police Jobs vacancies in AP. The schedule is likely to be released by the end of August.
Cases have been filed in the courts on the constable recruitment process undertaken by the YCP Govt. The government hopes to find out their progress and start the recruitment process. DGP Dwarka Tirumala Rao and Chairman Police Appointment Board PH Ramakrishna reviewed the issue. By the end of August, the recruitment process will be started and the schedule will be decided.
Although Jagan promised to fill 6,500 police posts every year… it was not implemented. He did not fill even one constable post during his five-year rule. Finally, after three and a half years of coming to power, the notification for filling 6,100 constable posts was released on November 28, 2022. Even after that the recruitment process did not go ahead.
Prelims for constable posts (Police jobs prelims) were conducted and the results were announced. But the steps after that are ignored. Now the NDA government has decided to continue the recruitment process.
95,208 qualified in prelims
4,58,219 candidates appeared for the prelims held on January 22 last year for the constable posts. Out of them 95,208 candidates qualified. These results are out on February 5, 2023. In the second phase they have to conduct Physical Stamina and Physical Ability (PMT, PET) tests. The hall tickets were also issued after giving the schedule and saying that it will be held from March 13 to 20, 2023. After that, the name of the graduate MLA election was adjourned.
Difficulties of Candidates
Unemployed police candidates are preparing for these exams two years before the notification is issued. Not being able to do other things and not knowing when the exams will be conducted, they are getting tensed. Now the unemployed are happy as the NDA government is starting the recruitment process.
