TGPSC key update for candidates writing Group.3 in Telangana. The schedule of the exams to be held on November 17 and 18 has been released. Hall tickets can be downloaded from a week before the exams. That means from November 9 or 10 candidates can download their hall tickets through tgpsc website. The officials also said that the model answer booklets have been made available on the tgpsc website.
33 Exam Centres
33 examination centers have been set up in the state for the Group-3 examinations to be held on November 17 and 18 under the OMR system. TGPSC officials have already held a video conference with District Collectors and SPs on the conduct of Group-3 exams. Total 1388 posts will be filled through Group 3 notification.
What is the competition for each post?
First TGPSC Group 3 notification released on 30th December 2022 with 1363 posts. The total number of posts increased to 1375 with inclusion of 12 vacant posts in BC Gurukula Society. After that 13 Junior Assistant posts were also added in the Irrigation Department ENC office taking the total number of Group.3 posts to 1,388. About 5,36,477 people have applied for these posts across the state. That means around 386 people are competing for each post.
Group 3 exam will be conducted in total 3 papers. 150 marks per paper. Examination for total 450 marks.
Paper-1 : General Studies & General Abilities -150 Marks
Paper-2: History, Polity & Society – 150 Marks
Paper-3: Economy & Development -150 Marks
How to revise in short time?
In TGPSC Group.3 there is not even a month left for the exam. Many people are tensed as to how to revise in such a short time. Every minute should be used very carefully… Make a study plan every day and carry out your preparation… Follow these plans for that.
1) Read the 3 papers identifying common topics and linking them. Along with reading… Mock Tests and Daily Tests should be written on the respective lessons.
2) Study current affairs, international relations… also apply the information to subjects like science and technology, polity, economy. For complete details watch the video on Telangana exams YT
3) Those who have set group 3 as target should concentrate more on the third paper economy especially.. if the other subjects are worth 50 marks… keep in mind that economy alone is worth 150 marks… watch the video we made specially for that…

4) During this time you should give priority only to revision… Revise what you have read so far… Don’t focus on new things. So don’t try to buy new books now.
5) Don’t miss new updates: We told you not to buy new books but… don’t miss new updates. i.e. budget matters in the economy… follow only updated material regarding new schemes, central state government policies, schemes, allocation of funds. Also, in politics, read the current judgments given by the courts…the previous laws regarding them…their performance.
6) Turn over your notes: You have already prepared your own notes while studying in description mode. Now turn over those notes… focus on the mind maps and the points written in brief.
7) Every day… key time should be allocated for each subject. There are only 20 days left… So you should spend at least 8 to 10 hours a day for your preparation. Make a daily time table so that every subject is covered. When you wake up in the morning… write down on a piece of paper what you want to read at any time today… follow it for sure.
8) How long to read current affairs? : Must read current affairs from last year… or definitely from January 2024, don’t miss it. Also those writing group 3 exam… better if you study current affairs till September 30 or October 15.
