బ్రిటన్ లో జరిగి సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో లేబర్ పార్టీ ఘన విజయం సాధించింది. ఆ పార్టీ మ్యాజిక్ ఫిగర్ దాటిపోయి 403 సీట్లల్లో విజయం సాధించింది. దాంతో 14యేళ్ళుగా అధికారంలో ఉన్న కన్జర్వేటివ్ పార్టీ అధికారానికి దూరమైంది. రిషి సునాక్ ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్న కన్జర్వేటివ్ పార్టీకి 109 సీట్లు మాత్రమే దక్కాయి. బ్రిటన్ పార్లమెంట్ లో మొత్తం 650 సీట్లు ఉండగా… అందులో 326 మ్యాజిక్ ఫిగర్. బ్రిగన్ ప్రధాని రిషి సునాక్ ఓటమిని అంగీకరించారు. లేబర్ పార్టీకి చెందిన కీర్ స్టార్మర్ బ్రిటన్ ప్రధానిగా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టబోతున్నారు.
మానవ హక్కుల న్యాయవాది అయిన కీర్ స్టార్మర్ లేబర్ పార్టీలో చేరి ప్రధాని స్థాయికి ఎదిగారు. 2019లో ఘోరంగా ఓడిపోయిన ఆ పార్టీని అధికారంలోకి తీసుకొచ్చారు. లాయర్ గా చట్టం, క్రిమినల్ జస్టిస్ లాంటి అంశాల్లో తన ప్రతిభతో దివంగత బ్రిటన్ రాణి క్వీన్ ఎలిజబెత్ నుంచి నైట్ అవార్డు కూడా స్టార్మర్ అందుకున్నారు. 2015లో లండన్ నుంచి లేబర్ పార్టీ ఎంపీగా పార్లమెంట్ కు ఎన్నికయ్యారు. రిషి సునాక్ తో పోలిస్తే స్టార్మర్ అంత యాక్టివ్ కాదని లేబర్ పార్టీ లీడర్లే చెబుతుంటారు.
మొన్నటిదాకా బ్రిటన్ ప్రధానిగా ఉన్న రిషి సునాక్ భారత్ మూలాలు ఉన్న వ్యక్తి కావడంతో మన దేశానికి అనుకూలమైన విదేశాంగ విధానం నడిచింది. మరి స్టార్మర్ వస్తే పరిస్థితి ఏంటన్న చర్చ నడుస్తోంది. బ్రిటన్ ప్రధానిగా స్టార్మర్ బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టినా కూడా కన్జర్వేటివ్ ప్రభుత్వం కుదుర్చుకున్న స్వేచ్ఛా వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందాన్ని కంటిన్యూ చేస్తామంటున్నారు లేబర్ పార్టీ నేతలు. ఇప్పటికే ఆ పార్టీ మేనిఫెస్టోలో కూడా ఈ విషయం ప్రకటించారు. కశ్మీర్ తో భారత వ్యతిరేక వైఖరితో మాజీ లీడర్ కార్బన్ హయాంలో లేబర్ పార్టీతో భారతీయుల సంబంధాలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయి. వాటిని పునరుద్దరించేందుకు స్టార్మర్ గట్టిగానే పనిచేశారు. భారత్ తో ప్రజాస్వామ్యం, ఇతర ఆశయాల విషయంలో సన్నిహిత సంబంధాలు కొనసాగుతాయని కూడా ఈమధ్యే స్టార్మర్ ప్రకటించారు. అలాగే యూకేలో భారతీయులపై జరుగుతున్న నేరాలను తగ్గిస్తానని చెప్పారు. బ్రిటన్ తో భారతీయులకు ఉన్న ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ ఇబ్బందులు తొలగిస్తామనీ, భారతీయ వర్కర్లకు టెంపరరీ వీసాలు మంజూరు చేస్తామని కూడా లేబర్ పార్టీ హామీ ఇచ్చింది.

Rishi Sunak, who was the Prime Minister of Britain until recently, was a person of Indian origin, so he followed a favorable foreign policy for our country. And there is a discussion about what will happen if Stormer comes. The leaders of the Labor Party say that they will continue the free trade agreement concluded by the Conservative government even if Starmer takes over as the Prime Minister of Britain. This has already been announced in the party’s manifesto. Indian relations with the Labor Party were strained during the tenure of former leader Karbon due to his anti-India attitude towards Kashmir. Starmer worked hard to reconcile them. Starmer also recently announced that close relations with India will continue in terms of democracy and other ambitions. He also said that he will reduce the crimes against Indians in the UK. The Labor Party also promised to remove the immigration problems of Indians with Britain and grant temporary visas to Indian workers.
