JEE Main 2025: No Optional Questions In JEE Main… Notification by the end of this month

Changes and additions are going to happen in JEE Mains 2025 this time. This time the syllabus is likely to be added. Last year the syllabus of JEE Mains and Advanced exams was reduced. In 2020, some chapters in chemistry, maths and physics were removed from classes 8-12 due to Corona. This year, the authorities are thinking about adding the old syllabus.

NTA has announced that the choice in Section B for the last three years has been removed from the JEE Main exams. JEE Main has 75 questions with 4 marks per question and a total of 300 marks in the Question Paper. 25 questions each will be given from Maths, Physics, Chemistry. Due to covid, choice questions were also given in each subject. From JEE Main 2021, a total of 90 questions have been given in each subject at the rate of 30. Each subject key had two sections A and B. Answers should be written for 20 questions in Section A. In Section B, 10 questions were given and there was a choice to answer five of them. NTA officials have announced that this choice has been removed.

JEE notification by the end of October

The JEE 2025 notification will be released at the end of October. National Testing Agency is making arrangements for that. The process of JEE ONLINE applications will start in the first week of November itself. First Phase JEE Mains will be conducted in January. Then Second Phase JEE Mains will be held in the month of April/May 2025.
JEE Mains 2025 is conducted for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and Central Government funded engineering colleges in the country. 2.5 lakh people who qualify in this Mains will be given an opportunity to write JEE Advanced. After that allotment of seats in IITs will be based on marks obtained in Advanced.
