The long-running recruitment process for Group 4 employees in Telangana is finally over. TGPSC announced Final List for 8,180 Group-4 Service Posts. Released the final list of selected candidates for 8,084 posts. This process continued for two years. The job advertisement has been released on December 1, 2022. 9.51 lakh people have applied for these posts in the state. Written Test was conducted for Group.4 on July 1, 2023. Around 7.6 lakh people attended it. The final key was released on 6th October 2023. Due to legal disputes and technical problems, the General Rank list was delayed. TGPSC has released General Rank List 2024 on February 9 after Revanth Reddy government came. 7,26,837 people got a chance in this list.
District wise selection of candidates
TGPSC has released the details of selected candidates for Group.4 posts category wise at state level and district level. Results of 59 posts are withheld. 37 vacancies were not filled due to lack of candidates in those categories. TGPSC officials have warned that if any of the already selected candidates give wrong information, their selection will be cancelled.
Too much time for documents verification
TGPSC announced the Final List of Group.4 candidates on June 9. As per rules, General candidates are selected in the ratio of 1:3 and disabled candidates in the ratio of 1:5 for documents verification for district level posts. But due to the selection of more candidates in the Merit List, it took 2 months for the verification of the documents. This process started on 20th June 2024 and ended on 31st August 2024. Scrutiny of documents of disabled and sports candidates was done till November 10, 2024. After completion of documents verification, TGPSC took post wise options from the candidates. According to the options given by the candidates, the Commission has completed the Group.4 Final List.
