From the current academic year (2024-25) in Telangana, Science Physics and Biology Exams will be held on different days for students of classes 9 and 10. Till now exam papers are given separately for both of them. But two exams are being conducted on the same day. But from this academic year, Physics and Chemistry will be conducted on one day, Biology exam will be conducted on another day. Telangana Education Department has issued a notification in this regard.

How much is each exam time?

Till last year, Physics and Biology exams were conducted one after the other on the same day. Each exam had an hour and a half time. Even if the students don’t complete the first exam physics…they take those answer papers…and conduct another exam immediately. There was an additional 20 minutes of time for that. Now that physics and biology are on different days…one and a half hours will be given for each exam.
Apart from these two, the rest of the subjects in ninth and tenth have the same paper. They are given 3 hours time as usual. The choice itself remains the same as before… no change. Officials say that these rules are applicable for both the ninth and tenth exams.
