It seems that the CM Revanth Reddy government is thinking of announcing another DSC to fill the posts of teachers in Telangana. Officials have already started collection on vacancies. Currently DSC has been conducted for filling 11,062 posts and Primary Key has been released. DSC results are likely to come in the first week of September. After that, by the end of October, the appointments of teachers will be filled district wise. The government is planning to announce the new DSC once this process is completed. They are planning to issue DSC notification in December or January and complete the recruitment by June or July. Officials say that there is a chance that TET will also be conducted soon. The officials are taking district wise information about the number of teacher posts to be filled in Telangana under the new DSC. Details of the number of schools, students and vacancies are being examined. Calculations are being done on how many vacancies will remain after the teachers who are appointed through the currently running DSC join the posts.

But in the current situation, even though the posts of teachers are vacant, the number of students joining government schools is decreasing. Even though there are posts of teachers in some schools, the number of students is small. If such a situation arises… those teachers should be sent to other schools where there are more students. The representatives of teachers unions say that it is better if steps are taken to fill up the new teacher posts only after such efforts are made.
