Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) notification is issued in Telangana. Earlier, the government had promised to hold Tet twice a year. TET Online exams were conducted from last May 20 to June 2. The government said in the job calendar that the second TET will be notified in November and the exams will be held in January 2025. The officials of the school education department have made all arrangements for issuing the notification. TET will be conducted online in January 2025. Nearly 2.35 lakh people appeared for the TET Exams last May. 1.09 lakh people have passed out of them. It is expected that the number of those writing the TG TET Exam this time will decrease as teachers who have completed DSC have joined the postings.

In January, 2025 TET Exams are being conducted ONLINE, so we need slots up to a week and ten days. That’s why officials of the education department say that it cannot be decided now whether Sankranti Lopa will be held… or later. Candidates who have completed TET Paper-1 DEd., Paper-2 B.Ed are eligible. TET qualification is required to get promotion as School Assistant. Therefore thousands of in-service teachers also have a chance to write this exam. TET has been conducted six times in Telangana state so far.
