The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, is inviting applications for 76 project-based positions in Hyderabad.
Vacancy Details:
- Project Scientist-III: 1 position
- Project Scientist-II: 16 positions
- Project Scientist-I: 9 positions
- Project Assistant: 17 positions
- Project Scientific Administrative Assistant: 15 positions
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks in relevant fields such as Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, Engineering, Geo-informatics, Physics, Computer Applications, etc.
- Ph.D. and relevant work experience are required for higher-level scientist roles.
Age Limit:
- Project Scientist-III: Maximum 45 years
- Project Scientist-II: Maximum 40 years
- Project Scientist-I: Maximum 35 years
- Project Assistant & Administrative Assistant: Maximum 50 years
- Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD/EWS candidates as per government rules.
Salary Structure:
- Project Scientist-III: ₹78,000 per month
- Project Scientist-II: ₹67,000 per month
- Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000 per month
- Project Assistant: ₹20,000 per month
- Scientific Administrative Assistant: ₹18,000 per month
Selection Process:
- Scientists: Selected based on an interview.
- Assistants: Selection will be through a written test.
- Exam/Interview Location: Hyderabad.
- Candidates can apply for multiple positions, and interviews/tests will be conducted separately for each.
