The State Bank of India (SBI) has recruited 13,455 Junior Associates to strengthen customer service across its branches nationwide.

This large-scale hiring covers 35 states and Union Territories, making it one of the biggest recruitment drives in the banking sector. The selection process began with preliminary exams in February and March 2025, followed by main exams in April 2025.

After thorough evaluation, 13,455 candidates have been chosen. SBI Chairman C S Setty announced that the total hiring for 2025 is 18,000, which includes 13,500 clerical roles and 3,000 probationary and local-based officers.

“With this fresh talent, we aim to enhance our workforce by implementing structured skill development programs aligned with evolving banking and tech needs,” Setty stated.
