IDBI Junior Assistant Manager Jobs 2025 Notification – 676 Vacancies

The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM), Grade ‘O’ posts. A total of 676 vacancies will be filled across various branches of the bank across India. Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A graduate degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC: 60%
- SC/ST/PwD: 55%
- Computer Proficiency: Mandatory for all candidates.
Age Limit (as of 01.05.2025)
- Must be between 20 to 25 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Online Objective Test
- Personal Interview
- Medical Examination (for final shortlisted candidates)
Exam Pattern (Objective Type Test – 200 Marks, 2 Hours)

- Total: 200 Questions – 200 Marks
- The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi).
- Sectional timing applies.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks are required section-wise.
Interview (100 Marks)
- Candidates shortlisted based on online test scores will be called for a 100-mark interview.
- Qualifying Marks:
- General: 50%
- SC/ST/PwD: 45%
Final Merit List
- IDBI will assign weightage as follows:
- Online Test (75%)
- Interview (25%)
- Scores will be normalized and combined out of 100 to prepare the final merit list.
- Final selections will be made after medical fitness checks and issuance of offer letters.
Salary Package
- Selected candidates will receive a CTC of ₹6.14 lakh per annum, and up to ₹6.50 lakh in metro cities.
- Additional benefits: DA, HRA, and other allowances.
Career Growth
- Appointed as Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’).
- 1-year probation period.
- Posting can be in any department or branch across India.
- Promotion to Grade ‘A’ Officer after 3 years based on performance.
- Regular increments and promotions will follow bank norms.
Exam Preparation Tips
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation: Focus on directions, distance, analogies, blood relations, sequences, puzzles, flowcharts, and diagrams.
- English Language: Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence structures (simple, compound, complex).
- Quantitative Aptitude: Practice core math and arithmetic – ratios, percentages, time & distance, time & work, averages, square/cube roots, additions/subtractions.
- General Awareness: Stay updated with current affairs, economic developments, banking sector updates, banking terminology, and basic computer knowledge.
