The Indian Army has released a notification for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) – 54th Course (January 2026) for Permanent Commission. This is a golden opportunity for unmarried male candidates who have completed Intermediate with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC group).

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate (MPC) with at least 60% marks from a recognized education board.
- Should have appeared for JEE Main 2025.
- Must meet specific physical and medical standards.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
- Age limit: Should be between 16.5 and 19.5 years as on 01.01.2026.
✅ Selection Process:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on JEE Main 2025 scores.
- Shortlisted candidates will go through the SSB (Service Selection Board) process, which includes:
- Stage 1 & Stage 2 Tests
- Personal Interview
- Medical Examination
- Only those who qualify in Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2. Others will be sent back the same day.
- Final selection will be based on overall merit in the selection process.
🎓 Training Details:
- Selected candidates will undergo 4 years of Pre-Commissioned Training in two phases:
- Phase 1: 3 years at CME Pune / MCTE Mhow / MCEME Secunderabad
- Phase 2: 1 year at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
💰 Stipend & Salary:
- During training, a monthly stipend of ₹56,100 will be provided.
- After successful completion, candidates will be appointed as Lieutenants with an annual CTC of ₹17–18 lakhs.
- Pay Level: Level 10 in the Pay Matrix
🎓 Engineering Degree Awarded:
- After successfully completing 4 years of training, candidates will be awarded an Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech).
- They will also be commissioned as Lieutenant officers in the Indian Army.
