Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released a notification for the recruitment of 403 Head Constable (General Duty) posts through the Sports Quota. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Though the positions are initially temporary, they are likely to be made permanent later.

• Archery, Kayaking, Canoeing, Rowing
• Football, Handball, Gymnastics, Fencing
• Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Sepaktakraw, Basketball
• Tennis, Badminton, Cycling, Swimming, Athletics
• Hockey, Shooting, Judo, Kabaddi
• Weightlifting, Wrestling, Bodybuilding

Candidates must have represented their sport at state/national/international level events held between 01.01.2023 to 06.06.2025.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Intermediate/10+2 pass
• Sports Achievement: Must have represented in recognized sports competitions at State, National, or International level, conducted by:
  • Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports
  • Indian Olympic Association
  • Association of Indian Universities / Inter-University Sports Board
  • School Games Federation of India

📏 Physical Standards:

• Men (General): Height – 167 cm, Chest – 81-86 cm
• Men (ST): Height – 160 cm
• Women: Height – 153 cm
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age for both genders

🎯 Selection Process:

Two-stage selection:

Stage 1:

1. Biometric Registration
2. Trial Test (20 Marks) – Minimum 10 marks required
3. Proficiency Test (40 Marks) – Minimum 20 marks required
4. Physical Standard Test (PST)
5. Document Verification

Stage 2:

6. Medical Examination

Candidates must submit written consent to participate in all stages after biometric registration.

💵 Salary:

₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month (Pay Level 4)
Plus all applicable Central Govt allowances

📆 Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):

• General/EWS: 18 to 23 years
• SC/ST: Up to 28 years (5 years relaxation)
• OBC: Up to 26 years (3 years relaxation)
• Departmental Candidates:
  • Gen/EWS/OBC: Up to 40 years
  • SC/ST: Up to 45 years
