MCEME Group-C Exam Preparation Guide

The Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), located in Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad, conducts a competitive exam for Group-C posts. Candidates preparing for this exam must understand the pattern, syllabus, and adopt a strategic approach to succeed.


Exam Pattern Overview

There are two distinct patterns based on the post applied for:

1. For LDC, Stenographer, Lab Assistant, Civilian Motor Driver:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 questions
  • General Awareness – 25 questions
  • General English – 50 questions
  • Numerical Aptitude – 50 questions
    Total: 150 questions – 150 marks – Duration: 120 minutes

2. For MTS, Tradesman Mate, Boot Maker, Barber:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 questions
  • General Awareness – 50 questions
  • General English – 25 questions
  • Numerical Aptitude – 25 questions
    Total: 150 questions – 150 marks – Duration: 120 minutes

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.


Preparation Strategy

1. Break Down the Syllabus:

  • Allocate one week per subject.
  • Morning – Reasoning, Afternoon – Numerical Aptitude, Evening – English/General Awareness.

2. Daily Study Timetable:
