Who Cannot Apply?
You might be ineligible for this scheme if you meet any of these conditions:
- Age: Below 21 or above 24 years.
- Current Status: Engaged in full-time employment or education.
- Other Schemes: Already in a Central/State Government internship, apprenticeship, or training program.
- Educational Qualifications: Graduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, or IIITs. Also, those with qualifications like CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, PhD, or any master’s degree.
- Prior Apprenticeships: Completed an apprenticeship under NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) or NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme).
- Financial Status: If your (or your parents’/spouse’s) income exceeded ₹8 lakh in FY 2023-24.
- Family Status: If you, your parents, or spouse are permanent/regular government employees (contractual employees are exempt).
- Nationality: Non-Indian citizens are not eligible.
