SSC CHSL 2025 Self Slot Selection Begins—Pick Your Exam City, Date & Shift Before October 28
SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Update: Self Slot Selection Window Opens October 22
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the revised schedule for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 Exam 2025. After a brief postponement due to overlap with the SSC CGL exam, the CHSL Tier 1 exam will now begin on November 12, 2025
In a candidate-friendly move, SSC has introduced a self-slot selection facility for the first time. From October 22 to October 28, candidates can log in to the SSC portal and choose their preferred exam city, date, and shift—based on availability in the three cities they selected during registration
This flexibility allows lakhs of aspirants to plan their exam day more comfortably, especially those traveling from remote regions or appearing in regional languages.
SSC CHSL 2025 Revised Exam Dates & Reason for Postponement
Originally scheduled between September 8 and 18, the CHSL Tier 1 exam was postponed because SSC couldn’t conduct two major national exams—CHSL and CGL—simultaneously
Now, with the new dates confirmed, candidates can prepare with clarity and confidence.
