Yuva AI Global Youth Challenge 2025 – A Golden Chance for Students
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the world, and India is making sure its youth are part of this revolution. To encourage innovation and creativity among students, the Government of India has launched the Yuva AI Global Youth Challenge 2025. This initiative gives young minds the chance to solve real-life problems using AI, win cash prizes up to ₹15 lakh, and showcase their projects at the prestigious Global AI Summit in February.
Why This Yuva AI Challenge Matters
AI is no longer just a buzzword — it is transforming healthcare, education, agriculture, smart cities, and everyday life. Through this challenge, students can:

Yuva AI – Eligibility Criteria
The challenge is open to students aged 13–21 years. Eligible participants include:
- Students from Class 8 onwards (high school, intermediate, degree, B.Tech).
- Individuals or teams can apply.
- Applicants must submit their entries online before the deadline.
Yuva AI Challenge – Selection Process
Winners will be chosen through a three-stage process:
- Initial Screening – Shortlisting of promising ideas.
- Project Improvement – Mentorship and refinement of selected projects.
- Final Interview – Evaluation by experts to select winners.
Selected projects will be showcased at the Global AI Summit 2025, giving students international exposure.
Workshops by NIELIT Delhi
Participants will also get the chance to attend AI expert workshops organized by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Delhi. These workshops will help students understand responsible AI usage, creativity, and innovation.
Cash Prizes
The competition offers attractive rewards:
- 🥇 Top 3 teams – ₹15 lakh each
- 🥈 Next 3 teams – ₹10 lakh each
- 🎖️ Special awards for 2 teams – ₹5 lakh each
Innovation Themes
Students can submit AI solutions under the following categories:
- Empowering communities and societies
- Transforming key sectors
- Smart infrastructure and ecosystems
- Wildcard / Open innovation
Projects beyond these categories are also welcome, as long as they demonstrate creativity and impact.
