TG GOVT SCHEMES

The new government schemes brought in by CM Revanth Reddy after the Congress government came. How much allocation was made for those schemes in the 2024-25 state budget.

CM Revanth Signatures on files

When the Congress government came to power in the state of Telangana, it means… On the first day of December 7, 2023, CM Revanth Reddy signed two files. They are

1) Draft of Six Guarantees

2) Job for Rajini who is disabled

What are the six guarantees promised by the Congress government.. these were put in the manifesto of that party… you know

1) Grihajyoti

2) Farmer Assurance

8) Arms

4) Indiramma houses

5) Mahalakshmi

6) Youth development

The government has allocated a total of 47 thousand 167 crore rupees in the 2024-25 state budget for six guarantee schemes.

Mahalakshmi Scheme

This scheme was launched on December 9, 2023. It again has three sub schemes… sub schemes. In that

1) Free travel for women in RTC buses

2) Gas cylinder for Rs.500

8) Rs.2500 per month for women

As part of the Mahalakshmi scheme, the Congress government has provided free travel in RTC buses to women. This scheme started on 9th December 2023. Boxer Nikhat Zareen was the first to get a free ticket in RTC buses.

What are the Free Bus Procedures?

Girls, women and transgender persons of all ages residing in Telangana state are eligible for this.  Women can travel free of charge in Telangana State’s Palle Velugu, Express, City Ordinary and Metro EXPRESS buses in Hyderabad. Identity card must be shown for locality verification at the time of travel. The original Aadhaar card was taken as standard. Zero ticket is given to women travelling in the bus. In the budget of 2024-25, the state government has allocated 4 thousand 84 crore rupees for free bus travel to Mahalakshmi.

Rs.500 gas cylinder

Another sub-scheme of Mahalakshmi scheme is… gas cylinder for Rs.500. 2024, this scheme was launched by CM Revanth Reddy in the secretariat on February 27. Its main objective is to empower women, smokeless cooking… An opportunity has been given to apply in the public administration to identify the beneficiaries in this gas cylinder scheme.  In the Rs.500 gas cylinder scheme, total beneficiaries in the state are 39 lakh 57 thousand 637 families identified under this scheme. They should have a white ration card. LPG gas connection should be in the name of eligible beneficiaries. Cylinders are allocated on the basis of the average consumption of the last three years. The state government has allocated 723 crore rupees in the budget of 2024-25 for this 500 cylinder scheme. Congress promised to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2500 per month as part of Mahalakshmi scheme to women. For that, the state government has allocated 4 thousand 500 crores in the last Vote on account budget. These provisions have been removed in the latest budget.

Contribution scheme

Another scheme introduced by the Telangana government is… There are two programs in this scheme. Out of which 1) 10 Lakh Rajiv Arogyasree Bima II… Rs. 4 thousand monthly pension for old age, single women and disabled This scheme has not yet come into force. The state government has allocated 22 thousand crores of rupees in the 2024-25 budget for the existing pension payments… 12,000 crores are currently being spent on pensions before raising them. 14 thousand 861 crores have been allocated in the 2024-25 budget. In this, 2 thousand 16 rupees per month is provided to normal pensions and 3 thousand 16 rupees per month to disabled persons. As per the promise of the Congress government, it is to be given 4 thousand rupees to normal pensions and 6 thousand rupees to disabled persons.

Rajiv Arogyasree Bima

Another scheme introduced by Telangana government is Rajiv Arogyasree Bima. On December 9, 2023, Rajiv Arogyashri Bima Scheme was launched in the Legislative Assembly premises. The main objective of this scheme is ‘to provide health security’. Earlier they used to provide treatment in corporate hospitals up to Rs.5 lakhs. It has now been increased to Rs.10 lakh by the Revanth Reddy government.  This scheme is applicable to 90 lakh 10 thousand families below the BPL (Below poverty line) line.  Under this Rajiv Arogyasree Bima Scheme… one thousand and 65 crore rupees have been allocated in the 2024-25 budget.

Griha Jyothi

Another scheme of Telangana government is Griha Jyoti. This Grihajyoti Scheme was launched on February 27, 2024 at the Secretariat. The main objective of the scheme is to provide free electricity for household needs, up to 200 units.

Procedures of this scheme

Beneficiaries who have applied in public administration have been given an opportunity. They should have ration card and Aadhaar card and link them. This applies only to household needs. Not for those doing business… Zero current bills are being issued for this scheme. Zero bills are being issued from the first week of March 2024. Looking at the budget allocations…Looking at the budget allocations given to Griha Jyoti for the year 2024-25…. The state government has allocated 2 thousand 418 crores in the budget. As part of this scheme, the government said in the budget that zero current bills have been issued to 45 lakh 81 thousand 676 houses by July 15, 2024.

Indiramma House Scheme

Another ambitious scheme brought by the Congress government… Indiramma Indla Scheme.  2024, the scheme was launched at Bhadrachalam on 11th March. Along with CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponguleti and Tummala participated in this program.

The main purpose of Indiramma houses…

• Homestead for the homeless + Rs.5 lakhs
• If they have their own house land… they will be given Rs.5 lakhs.
• In the same scheme, 250 yards of house land will be given to Telangana activists.
• To get Indiramma houses… Beneficiaries will be identified on the basis of food security card.
• Beneficiary should be below poverty line. That means they must be poor.

Revanth Reddy government has set a target of construction of 3500 houses for each assembly constituency. That means a total of 4 lakh 16 thousand 500 houses will come. Another 33 thousand 500 houses have been allocated under the state reserve… In total, the government is going to build four and a half lakh houses per year. Indiramma house is granted in women’s name only. The district collector will sanction the houses after consulting the district in-charge minister. Collector will be selected after getting approval from village and ward councils. The subsidy for Indiramma houses will be available to the beneficiaries in four phases.

In that

1) Basement Level- Rs.1 Lakh

2) Upper ceiling level- Rs.1 lakh

8) After roof construction-Rs.2 lakhs

4) After completion of construction- Another one lakh…Total 5 lakh rupees will be given to the beneficiary for construction of each house.

This is the Indiramma Indla scheme brought by the Revanth Reddy government… but what is the allocation for this scheme in the 2024-25 state budget…Earlier Otan Account proposed 7 thousand 740 crores for Indiramma housing scheme in the budget…Latest 9 thousand 184 crores in the full budget of the state budget. In 2023-24, the then government allocated 12 thousand crores for house construction… the present government will provide 6 lakh rupees to SC and ST beneficiaries and 5 lakh rupees to other communities.  In this, the state government has estimated that financial assistance of Rs 4,644 crore will be received from the center under the scheme of houses to be built in urban and rural areas under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A total of 82 lakh 82 thousand 332 beneficiaries have applied for Indiramma houses through public administration in the state. Eligible candidates are selected from among them.

Abhayahastam Logo – Public Governance 

2023, On December 27, Abhayahastam logo and Prajapalana logo were unveiled. In addition to the six guarantees to be introduced by the Congress government, gram sabhas were organized in the name of democracy to apply for other schemes. 2023, from December 28 to 2024, January 6, beneficiaries have been given an opportunity to apply.

There are details of 5 schemes in this public administration application. What is missing is youth development. A ministerial sub-committee was formed on January 8, 2024 for the implementation of six guarantees in the state. Who are the members of this ministerial sub-committee? Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will act as the chairman. Also, other ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy are other members. More than 1 crore applications have been received in public administration. The Revanth government has decided to implement the six guarantees within 100 days of coming to power. The state government has allocated 58 thousand 196 crores in the interim budget of 2024-25 for Abhyahastam scheme.

Telangana Mahila Shakti

This scheme was launched by CM Revanth Reddy on March 12, 2024 at the Secunderabad Parade Ground. OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME: To re-introduce interest-free loans to self-help groups for women empowerment. This scheme has been in operation since 2014. Funding has been stopped from 2019-20. When the Congress government came… it again introduced the Mahila Shakti scheme. In the state budget 2024-25, 13 hundred and 2 crore rupees have been allocated for Mahila Shakti Pathakanari, which provides interest-free loans to these women. Apart from granting them canteens, it has been decided to provide employment to women under other schemes. 80 crores and 90 lakhs have been allocated in the latest budget for that.

Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme Procedures

Within each village Loans up to Rs. 1 crore, In the first year, loans of Rs.5000 crore will be provided to 5 thousand villages. He promised to implement a loan insurance scheme specifically for the members of women’s associations. And unfortunately… their loans are waived if the members die. Insurance will be implemented for that. The state government has also provided 2 lakh life insurance facility to 63 lakh 86 thousand women. Funds have also been allocated for insurance in the Telangana state budget. The state government has allocated 96 thousand 53 crore rupees in this budget for the implementation of 2 lakh accident insurance scheme for the members of women’s associations who take loans from banks.

 T-safe

Another program introduced by the Congress government is Tea Safe. Travel Safe was launched on March 12, 2024. It aims to be India’s first ride monitoring service for women and children. This tea safe is managed by the police department. It was introduced to protect women traveling alone in times of emergency with special emphasis. Accident Insurance for Gig Workers,

CM Revanth Reddy announced this scheme on December 24, 2023. 5 lakh accident insurance will be provided to food delivery, cab and autorickshaw workers through this scheme. 10 lakh health insurance is also provided by the government under the Rajiv Arogyasree scheme. The entire premium is paid by the government.

Amma Kosam

Another scheme brought by the Revanth Reddy government is for Amma. The scheme was launched on March 11, 2024. It is intended for new mothers. The scheme was introduced to address women’s mental health, infections and other problems for a year after childbirth. In primary health centers one day in a week is specially set aside to check the health of mothers. These are the new schemes brought under the Congress government… allocations for them in the 2024-25 state budget
