Exams for TGPSC Group 1 are going on. Tension has started among the unemployed who are preparing for Group 1 Mains. Arguments have been going on for the last few days on the petitions filed in the High Court. Completed today. However, the High Court reserved the verdict.
What arguments were actually made in the court… Why did TGPSC tell the court that Telugu academy books are waste… Why was there a need to take izzat of academy books written by professors who are very proficient in the subjects… I will discuss in this article. Subscribe our Telangana Exams you tube channel…
Due to paper leaks during the BRS Sarkar regime…group 1 was cancelled…well…when Revanth Reddy government came…the old notification was cancelled…a few posts were added…a new notification was given.2024 TGPSC conducted prelims for total 563 Group 1 posts on 9th June 2024…Released preliminary key on 13th June…Candidates approached High Court after objections on Group 1 prelims key. There were 721 physical objections on the prelims key from nearly 3 lakh people who wrote the exams… and 6 thousand 470 objections were received online. The counsel for TGPSC told this matter to the court.Well… as the expert committee examined these objections… TGPSC released the key by removing only two questions with the recommendations of the committee considering the main objection.Candidates question here is whether to prepare 150 marks question paper to TGPSC or not…But what about the candidates who approached the court… they objected to the answers to questions 68, 79, 106, 112 in Group 1 prelims… that is, in the final key given by TGPSC… not two… four questions were wrong. For that they mentioned Telugu Academy Books as reference.
Candidates have given reference to Telangana History – Culture 2016 as well as Telangana Regional Geography books published by Telugu Akademi…Here TGPSC Chairman, Officials…anyone…to justify themselves…Telugu Akademi has been branded a waste institution.TGPSC officials have filed an affidavit in the High Court stating that the books of Telugu Academy are not correct… they cannot be taken as authentic… they are like running notes… and what is even worse… the professors have written without doing any research…
From the joint AP till now, all our candidates are preparing for the exams by trusting Telugu Academy. Every year besides academic students…for TGPSC, other state level competitive exams also…special books are printed from Telugu academy…and there are expert professors there. Also, four or five books for competitive exams were released from Ambedkar Academy… they were also under the guidance of TSPSC ex-chairman Chakrapani. It blamed professors in world famous universities like Osmania, Kakatiya, Ambedkar University… moreover those books… are not textbooks for degree and PG courses… they concluded that they are not standard books.TGPSC is adopting a dictatorial attitude… Today some unemployed people… have pasted posters on TGPSC walls… Moreover… TGPSC is saying that don’t buy Telugu Academy books… They are waste… Posters are also near stalls selling academy books in Hyderabad. Attached. The candidates who filed the petition have given wrong answers to 7 questions in total… they are demanding to be deleted… and the key should be released again later… and a fresh list of candidates should be given.
According to the notification released for filling up 563 posts.. General Posts 200, EWS 49, BC(A) 44, BC(B) 37, BC(C) 13, BC(D) 22, BC(E) 16, SC 93, ST There are 52 posts, sportspersons 4 and disabled 24 posts each. Petitions were also filed in the court alleging that the Service Commission has failed to select the ratio of 1:50 for all categories and reservation category candidates are suffering loss.
Now group 1 mains exams are going on in 17 days. With TGPSC’s conflicting claims…candidates are in tension whether the mains exam will be held now…or not.The tension has increased among the mains candidates after the High Court held the verdict on the Group 1 petitions. Keeping in mind the mains exam… the high court has also been listening to the arguments of both groups… as it is currently in reserve… there is a chance to announce the verdict in the next week… and will the TGPSC postpone the mains exams… it has to be done… if not… … Candidates are not able to read anything in tension… Moreover Telugu Academy says that books are waste… Now there are doubts that new books should be found.
